A walk around Lymington

St Thomas's Street
Wellworthy was the Lymington's biggest employer for nearly 70 years up until it closed in 1989. The company made engine components and was particularly known for its pistons and piston rings. At its peak the factory employed over 4000 people. One of its two sites in Lymington was where Waitrose now stands, to the right of this picture.
