Pod & Co Pilates offers classes tailored to suit all levels of fitness, capability and experience. I strongly believe in small group class numbers to ensure that clients receive as much personal attention and safe teaching as possible. Therefore there is a maximum of 8 per group class. Classes are one hour or half an hour in group, paired or private sessions.

Group classes are a safe and fun way to practise Pilates and also a chance to socialise with friends or class members! The majority of exercises are performed lying down, but each class will vary slightly, involving standing, sitting, using stability balls, resistance bands or weights for example.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a bit like yoga in the way it uses smooth, deliberate movements and controlled postures to tone and elongate your muscles and increase your flexibility. The main difference, though, is that Pilates is not a holistic health system like yoga – it is focused on exercise and breathing technique alone. Wahanda.com
