Bournemouth Central has a wide sandy beach with a gradual slope into the sea.

The shopping centre is connected to the beach by the Winter Gardens and is about a 15-minute walk.

Kidzone: helps you to keep track of your children during your visit to the beach. Collect your free wristbands from the Seafront office, write your contact phone number and sit between the KidZone beach markers that match the colour on your wristband.

There is a beach office and Lifeguard cover from the 1st May through to the 30th September. 

Facilities: restaurants, cafes, boat trips from the pier and entertainment.
